Profhilo®
What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is composed of high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, highly concentrated and non-cross-linked. It is injected into the dermis to deeply hydrate the skin and stimulate collagen and elastin production by fibroblasts(biostimulation principle). Profhilo is often used to improve skin texture and elasticity, reduce fine wrinkles and give a more toned, smoother appearance. Unlike other treatments such as fillers or botulinum toxin, Profhilo works by improving the overall quality of the skin.
The skin areas that can be treated are :
The face
Cleavage
The neck
The belly
The back
The hands
How does the session work?
During the session, the dermatologist will disinfect the skin and inject Profhilo into the dermis. Resumption of activity is immediate.
When will the results be visible?
The first results generally appear a few weeks after the session, with continued improvement over the months. Two sessions, 1 month apart, are required for optimal results. Thereafter, 1 session every 6 to 9 months is recommended to maintain results.

What are the possible side effects?
Profhilo components are safe and 100% biocompatible. Symptoms may include bruising and slight swelling at the injection site, which generally disappears after 48 hours.
